Management agent for the Varnish Cache server A REST interface to the Varnish CLI and shmlog, that adds some basic remote access functionalities for the Varnish Cache software. Between others, Varnish Agent offers: Simple/Zero Configuration, except you might eventually enable authentication. Upload/Download VCL, uploaded VCL is stored to disk. Deploy new VCL, able to be persisted after reboot. Start/Stop Varnish Cache daemon, show/delete panics, show status, etc. Live Show/Change daemon parameters. Varnishstat support, retrieve varnishstat data in JSON format. Varnishlog support, retrieve varnishlog data in JSON format. Even though Varnish Agent is a second generation software, its still under heavy development. Use with caution. SECURITY NOTICE: Although HTTP authbasic support has been recently added, this will *not* provide any protection against eavesdropping or unauthorized parties listening connections. You *must* have another layer of security than just authbasic when deploying on Untrusted networks, like VPN/SSH tunnels, SSL termination proxy, etc.
